What Is the role?
We are looking for a Senior Engineer to build innovative customer focused tooling to secure builds and provide analytics on the software supply chain. In this role, you will have the ability to shape the outcome of a greenfield product. You will architect and implement new cutting edge solutions to solve complex problems. You will be heavily collaborating in multiple open source communities and, as a result, getting your name out there.

Organizations both large and small, equally face challenges that come with developing as well as ingesting software securely. Kusari aims to protect organizations and the community from supply chain risk with innovative tools that minimize painful change. We see a world where we can meet customers where they are and give them the cutting edge tools they need to protect themselves from supply chain attacks and vulnerabilities. We are taking great care to design these tools in such a way as to abstracting away the complexities and deliver a solution that is seamless. Security should not be an added burden on the developers or the DevOps engineers, it should integrate without effort and solve the unknown questions related to software supply chain.
We founded Kusari to help address the cybersecurity gaps we found ourselves facing continuously in our previous experience. We aim to make organizations secure by applying newer approaches to technology and utilizing zero trust architectures that can secure both the production and ingestion of software.

Qualifications
- Able to produce high quality code, tests, and documentation
- Like to be in a fast paced environment building the foundations of an emerging product
- Ready to take on the challenges of solving the hard questions in software supply chain
- Understands how the SDLC is implemented in various companies (and its flaws)
- Cloud native experience
- DevSecOps experience and passion for automation
- Problem solve & troubleshoot complex technical and design challenges and implement innovative solutions
